Talented Middleton teenagers set their sights on Bangkok

Two teenage Thai boxers from Middleton hope recent intensive training will allow them to add further wins to their fight record when they compete in Bishop Auckland next Saturday.

Jack Marshall and Fabian Monit, both aged 16, have been training for 18 months at Beeston’s MSA Academy under Rafal Wrzeszcz known as Kru Rafal. “This will be my sixth bout,” said Monit, “I've won three and lost two. I recently became a British and Irish junior champion. Losing is learning and you start out against more experienced opponents anyway.”
