Police renew plea to find attacker

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Leeds, which left a man "lucky to be alive", have renewed their appeal to trace his attacker.

The attack, which happened around 8.30pm in Tempest Place in Beeston on Tuesday January 28, left the victim with significant life-changing injuries.

Police said the victim, Dawud Aslam, has long-lasting physical and mental-health issues as a result of the assault, which is being investigated as an attempt murder.
