Plans for easier access to council services for city

Customers of Leeds City Council could soon benefit from faster, more convenient access to services, after senior councillors gave the nod for work to start on a new customer services transformation programme.

At a recent meeting of the executive board, councillors approved an investment of £12 million over three-and-a-half years, to transform the channels and mechanisms available to everyone who needs to contact the council.

This includes residents, businesses, visitors and partner organisations - anyone who might need contact the council to pay, book, tell, register, apply or check.
