No spoiling the party as United claim pole position in title race

Leeds United returned to the top of the Championship and left themselves one win away from lifting the title with last night's 4-0 victory at home to Bristol City.

In a sea of yellow and amid outrageous noise levels, Leeds had the ball in the back of the net after 15 minutes through Manor Solomon who slammed home from a Joel Piroe square ball, but Piroe had already been flagged offside.

However, six minutes later a lovely cross from Solomon towards the back post picked out Ao Tanaka who was left free as a bird to apply a beautiful calm finish, stroking the ball home on the volley.
