Museums' £47.3m boost to economy

The city's council-run museums and galleries have given the local economy a £47.3m boost over the past year, according to new figures.

The latest economic impact report compiled by Leeds Museums and Galleries sets out the figures, and shows the service's eight sites welcomed an impressive 939,494 people in the same period.
