Isn’t the human body wonderful? This is something we hear with alarming regularity. Alarming? Yes, because it isn't.
That glob of water and meat isn’t wonderful at all. In fact, if we had to pay for it, at birth, a goodly portion of the populace would be hanging out for a refund before they'd left school.
Let me expand (not literally). Although that is one design flaw associated with our anatomy - we are prone to piling on the pounds.
The minute we arrive into our existence, screaming and tearful, the problems begin.
Firstly, we are born without clothes. No furry pelt, no pyjamas, not even a funny foil blanket, like the ones handed out to marathon runners to stop them becoming ex-marathon runners.
