Connelly creates new cop but has not finished with most famous character
Best-selling crime writer Michael Connelly, famous for creating detective Harry Bosch, introduces a new cop in his 40th book.
Nightshade, a stand-alone thriller, introduces County Sheriff Detective Stilwell, who has been put out to pasture on Catalina Island off California.
Soon he is investigating the death of a young woman who has drowned in the harbour and comes up against an old LA adversary.
