Dominic Calvert-Lewin believes that Leeds United have changed the narrative of their Premier League season after securing a four-point haul that few observers envisaged ahead of successive games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

A goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time from substitute Ao Tanaka secured a dramatic point for United in a thrilling 3-3 draw versus reigning champions Liverpool at Elland Road on Saturday. It followed Leeds' outstanding 3-1 victory over Chelsea three nights earlier.

Only a late winner from City stopped Daniel Farke's side from taking something on the previous weekend, with Leeds heading out of their most arduous looking week of the campaign so far in credit after galvanising their survival prospects - while scoring eight goals.

Calvert-Lewin, who got Leeds' fine fightback in the final quarter underway against Liverpool with a penalty, said: "Momentum is massive. This is the epitome of football.
