Burnley look set to push ahead with plans to sue Everton after being named alongside Leeds United, Leicester City and others looking to claim compensation following relegation back in 2023.

Everton were deducted 10 points, reduced to six on appeal, in November 2023 after an independent commission found them guilty of breaching Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) over a three-year period which ended in 2022.
