Back to the old school – but will mature student make the grade?

This week is providing a welcome respite from one of the most stressful times of the year - exam season. A-levels, to be precise, of which son and heir is slap, bang in the middle of.

We are at the two weeks down, two weeks to go phase, with this half term week providing a spot of no-man's-land freedom from stress - or a five days of purgatory, depending on your point of view.

On the plus side, the stress, fear and sleepless nights before the first exam takes place are thankfully over.

That's just me, by the way - Himself is as cool as a cucumber, the intellectual equivalent of Virgil van Dijk dribbling out of his own box and setting up another attack, having revised, had booster sessions and tapped into every online resource known to man/boy.
