HAVING seen his Leeds Knights team suffer rare back-to-back defeats, Saturday night provided exactly the kind of response Ryan Aldridge will have been hoping for.
The return of captain Kieran Brown added a little jump to the Knights lineup for Saturday night's visit from Peterborough Phantoms, who were looking to repeat their opening weekend win against the three-time NIHL National champions on home ice.
And even though it was Brown who got the ball rolling in the night minute with a close-range finish after good work from Matt Bissonnette behind the net, it was Oli Endicott - much like in the 3-2 overtime defeat to Basingstoke Bison a week earlier - who was the star of the show.
