In view of the increasing complaints regarding the cleanliness of toilets and drains on the national highway, Executive Vice Chairman of Swachh Bharat Mission Haryana Subhash Chandra met the Regional Officer of National Highway 44 Vipnesh Sharma in Chandigarh on Monday.

During the meeting, Vice Chairman Subhash Chandra said that National Highway 44 covers about half of Haryana, it is the lifeline of the state, so every possible effort should be made to make the national highway clean, beautiful and safe. He said that thousands of domestic and foreign tourists pass through this highway every day, to whom it is the responsibility of the National Highway Authority to provide clean and hygienic toilets. He asked to release a mobile app for monitoring the cleanliness of toilets and national highways and redressal of complaints so that common people can give their complaints and suggestions on it
