Police have arrested a Pakistani spy from Panipat.
He was in touch with Pakistani terrorist Iqbal. He was sending him Indian intelligence information through WhatsApp and other social media apps. Karnal and Panipat’s acting SP Gangaram Poonia confirmed the arrest and said that the initial investigation has found the allegations of spying to be true. He has contacts with some people in Pakistan, with whom he was sharing sensitive and important information. Regarding his links with terrorists, the SP said that information has been received about this, it can be said with certainty after investigation. Police arrested him after tracing the suspicious activity from his number. Initial investigation revealed that the arrested spy Nauman Ilahi is originally from Kairana in Uttar Pradesh.
