Excise deptt already achieves Rs 12,615 cr revenue in ongoing auctions

The Haryana Excise and Taxation Department has already achieved revenue of Rs 12,615 crore during the ongoing excise auctions, So far, the department has successfully auctioned 1,081 out of a total of 1,194 excise zones across the state.

While sharing details, Excise and Taxation Commissioner Sh Vinay Pratap Singh said that the retail liquor vend licensees can operate two vends in each zones, thus more than 2150 retail liquor vends have been successfully opened within first three weeks under the new Excise Policy.
