DC Kullu visits cloud burst areas

Deputy Commissioner Kullu Tom S. Ravish on Thursday visited the areas affected by the flash flood in Jeeva Nala of Sainj area and took stock of the situation. During this, he met the affected families and expressed condolences to the families of 3 people missing in this natural disaster. She said that the search operation is going on to find the 3 missing people. The Deputy Commissioner said that in this hour of crisis, the government and the district administration stand with the affected people and all possible help will be provided. He directed the officers present on the spot to complete the relief and rehabilitation work quickly and effectively. She also directed the concerned departments to remain alert to assess the damage in the affected areas, ensure the supply of essential commodities and provide immediate assistance to the needy families.
