RECISE can claim a clear-cut victory in the Bet365 Fillies’ Mile at Newmarket’s key autumn meeting this afternoon, writes Molly Hunter.

Aidan O’Brien’s Starspangledbanner chestnut, who is out of a Galileo mare in Way To My Heart, has run four times to date and won three of those starts.

Notably she was triumphant in the Group Three Prestige Stakes at Goodwood in August, after which she stepped up to the top level to land the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh last month.

That win came over stablemate Beautify and Karl Burke's Venetian Sun, and although the former has not upheld the form in the Cheveley Park, any defeat of the Group One-proven latter is not to be taken lightly.
