COMMERCIAL champion Tiktoc strode her way to supreme success at the 2025 North Devon Show.
After winning her section at the Liskeard Show last month, Michael Kirby's powerful British Limousin cross was promoted to the top of the interbreed line at Umberleigh Barton Farm on Wednesday, August 6.
This April 2023-born heifer, bred and shown by Mr Kirby from Milton Damerel, Holsworthy, was tapped out by judge Richard Tully as his continental champion before going on to take the overall beef title.
Commenting on his champion, Mr Tully, from Brixham, said that she “took my eye as soon as she came in the ring”, had “nice even bone” and “walked well”
Mr Tully found his reserve supreme in the reserve continental champion, Stoneleigh Tunisia, bred and exhibited by Andrew Haste from Shebbear. Born in May 2023, this heifer had previously stood breed champion and formed one third of the interbreed-winning group of three at the Woolsery Show.
