Caldwell reiterates plan for Grecians to be brave

THE opposition is different, but the message from manager Gary Caldwell is the same for Exeter City ahead of today’s League One clash with Huddersfield Town: Be ready, play on the front foot and be brave.

Gary Caldwell was happy with many aspects of Exeter City's performance despite the 2-1 defeat at Stevenage

In their last home game, the Grecians were booed off by their own supporters when they trailed 2-0 at halftime - and again when the final whistle blew. The general consensus is that it was down to City’s style of play and playing out from the back. Whether those frustrations are enhanced by the continued veil of silence from those running the club when fans want answers to their growing concerns about the running of the club, is another matter.
Regardless of that, the one thing City do need right now is the supporters onside and backing their team. To ensure they get that, those players selected to start today’s clash need to heed their manager’s message.
