Van Zyl angry at Blues loss to Scarlets

CARDIFF coach Corniel van Zyl says he is still angry after Friday's defeat to the Scarlets, as he insisted the Blue and Blacks’ decade-long winning run over the Dragons means nothing ahead of their Boxing Day clash.

The Arms Park club dominated possession and territory, but failed to make the most of their numerous 22 entries in the 21-17 defeat to the west Walians.
That saw him miss out on going top of the URC.
“I’m still angry,” said van Zyl on Monday. “Very angry about the loss.
“It’s just a case of lost opportunities. There was a lot of positive stuff.
“The amount of chances was pleasing to see. They had a plan, we had a plan.
“Ultimately their plan worked better than ours.
“It's over now so we move forward.
“I was pleased with today’s session.
