A woman and her ex-husband have been jailed after she was arrested and taken off a plane by police.

- TAITE JOHNSON

Lisa Regan, from Portmead, Swansea and her ex-husband, Phillip Jones, from Brynhyfryd, Swansea have been sent to prison for overseeing a drugs operation supplying large quantities of cocaine to dealers in Wales.

Regan, 53, and Jones, 44, laundered the cash they had obtained by supplying drugs to dealers through a cafe in Blaenymaes. The former husband and wife have been sentenced to 14 years in prison in total.

Landing back in the UK from a trip abroad, Regan was arrested after officers conveyed her off a plane post-flight.

Pictures found on mobile phones owned by the couple showed Jones cutting up a kilo of cocaine.
