Three senior officers moved from roles after ‘jokes overheard in video call'

SOUTH Wales Police has moved three senior officers from their normal roles over “an allegation of inappropriate comments” during a video call.

It is alleged the officers were overheard making the comments on a Microsoft Teams call they mistakenly thought had just ended.
A source told the Western Mail the group call was held earlier this week to welcome a new employee to the force.
Towards the end of the call, three senior officers who were together in a police station room allegedly made inappropriate jokes about their new colleague.
