City are suddenly close to challenging for a playoff spot.Vitor Matos’ side may be lying 15th in the Championship, but they are only five points adrift of the top six in an extremely congested division.
Wrexham occupy the final playoff spot, but a host of clubs are at their heels,
And Swansea are one of them after moving up the table thanks to Sunday's 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
‘The victory was rarely in doubt. Swansea led by a solitary goal at the interval, then pulled away in the second half as Wednesday - who will wave goodbye to the second tier at the end of the season ~ wilted.
Goncalo Franco opened the scoring after 19 minutes. Zan Vipotnik’s second-half double - the Championship's top scorer now has 15 league goals - and a late fourth from substitute Malick Yalcouye earned Swansea another home win.
