Restaurant manager found guilty of raping woman

A RESTAURANT manager and former teacher has been found guilty of raping a woman at a house more than 20 years ago.
Daniel Gravell, 43, raped the woman at a property in Carmarthen in 2002, a jury found after a two-week trial at Swansea Crown Court.
Evidence in the trial heard how he raped his victim in a bed after she had been put there by friends when she felt unwell.
The victim had previously left the house to head into town with friends, but then returned home before being sick. The jury heard that Gravell went into the room she was sleeping in and raped her.
