A WALK around one of Cardiff's most popular suburbs inevitably ends up with one of its parks the destination, offering paths through trees and flowers, birdsong and wildlife and, depending which one welcomes your visit a place for a picnic, a quick game of tennis or even a peddle out into the city's most famous lake.

PARK LIFE

Roath Park is an attractive place to call home, not just because of the handsome period properties that line the residential roads but the proximity to all the shops, bars, cafés and restaurants to choose from along Wellfield Road and Albany Road.

But it’s arguably the parks that make this area of the capital stand out above the rest from the peace of Waterloo Gardens tucked away amongst the smaller roads to the often bustling Roath Park boasting its lake and a water view café, children's play areas, rose garden and glasshouse packed with tropical plants.

One of the most popular open spaces is the recreation ground but next to this is a quieter and more serene section of the park and this is where you will find one of the capital's most engaging apartments, nestled inside one of the most impressive bay-fronted period properties.
