LY-HALF Ioan Hughes’ conversion of flanker Tiaan Sparrow's 80th-minute try snatched a dramatic victory for Llandovery over RGC at Church Bank.

A fourth win from four took Euros Evans’ men top of Super Rygbi Cymru and above Ebbw Vale, who were left kicking their heels after their trip to Cardiff was postponed.

‘That was after the storms on Friday night caused damage to a set of posts at the Arms Park.

RGC had looked to be on their way to a memorable bonus-point win when fullback Caio Parry scored their fourth and bonus-point try, with Dion Jones’ conversion putting the North Walians 35-22 ahead with eight minutes remaining.

But the Drovers roared back with late converted tries from fullback Jac Davies and Sparrow to maintain their 100 per cent winning start to the season.

“Delighted the way we found a way to win and, fair play to Ioan, a big kick to get us the result we needed,” said Llandovery head coach Evans.

“Disappointed defensively how easy we were to score against on occasions but, credit to RGC, they pushed us all the way.

“What has been pleasing over the past three games in particular is that we've managed to involve a lot of youngsters in the squad as well.
