Drug gang toppled as four men jailed
Western Mail
|November 06, 2025
AN ORGANISED crime gang who transported kilos of cocaine into Wales were discovered after the police cracked encrypted messages which advertised the sale of class A drugs.
Reece Dennington, 23; Corrie Morgan, 28; Kyle Morris, 38; and John Jenkins, 22, were involved in a drug ring operating in Blaenau Gwent connected with others in the Midlands, which saw thousands of pounds' worth of class A drugs trafficked.
After receiving intelligence about the operation, neighbourhood policing officers carried out a warrant at Dennington's home on December 6 last year.
Officers seized a phone, scales and bags containing powder.
Analysis of the phone revealed the scale of Dennington's role in the supply of cocaine.
The phone also showed videos of him counting large wads of cash and holding a bundle of cash to his ear while laughing.
