Dealer is jailed after police stop his vehicle
Western Mail
|October 24, 2025
A COCAINE dealer was caught after police in an unmarked car saw him driving “erratically.”
-
An officer in an unmarked car blocked the defendant's vehicle and an examination of his burner phone found he was involved in supplying a range of deal sizes
Dean Pulling, prosecuting, told Swansea Crown Court that John Smith first came to the attention of police in Swansea on October 15 last year, when officers saw an Audi TT car driving over the 30mph limit in Peniel Green Road in Llansamlet.
The prosecutor said the defendant told officers he was driving the sports car for the nearby Fabian Motor Company, but checks showed Smith had been banned from driving at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court three months earlier.
