Company’s new name reflects its global ambitions

SOUTH Wales engineering venture supporting infrastructure and renewable projects globally has opened new offices internationally as it plans to double current revenues of £27m over the next five years.

IPM Group (International Power and Marine Group) has also rebranded, having previously been known under its businesses Industrial Power and Marine Ltd and Power Consulting Midlands.

From its headquarters in Barry, IPM Group is looking to expand its global footprint, having already completed more than 16,000 projects worldwide, supported by new offices in Dubai and Japan.

In the UK the group also has offices in Barnsley and Burton on Trent.

Chief executive Randall Smith said: “It’s been a very busy few years, and when we came together as a team to see where we wanted to take the business’ future, we were all in agreement that we wanted to go global, and expand our range of services and sectors.
