A huge Christmas thank you... and there's still time to help
Western Mail
|December 08, 2025
YOU have already helped raise more than £4,100 to give children who would otherwise get nothing a Christmas present this year - but there's still more time to help.
-
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of readers of the Western Mail and WalesOnline, our annual Christmas appeal has raised a record amount.
We're working with three charities in deprived communities around Wales to help the neediest families this Christmas.
The cut off for our fundraising campaign is at the end of this week, after which the money will be used to buy gifts for children.
So if you can spare a small sum to help those in the greatest need, please visit our gofundme page or Amazon wishlist - details at the bottom of the article.
The three charities we're working with are called Canwolfan Pentre, in the Rhondda, Noddfa in Caerau, Bridgend and the DPJ Foundation, which works in rural communities.
They’re trying to help those households this Christmas where presents are a luxury they simply can’t afford.
