CYCLING In a return to form, under-23 Great Britain Cycling Team rider and Yeovil Cycling Club member Will Salter, currently racing for Nottingham-based BCC Elite Road Race Team, recently won the Senior Welsh Road Race Championship.

Salter joined Ed Morgan (Mucoff-SRCT-Storck) and Max Bufton (Wheelbase Cabtech Castelli) in an attack from the front of the peloton after an increase in pace had swept up the earlier breakaways. Working together, the trio managed to gain an advantage of up to a minute on the chasing pack behind.
