TRIBUTES have poured in for Bristol City's youngest-ever first team player, who has died at the age of 42 following a terminal cancer diagnosis.
Marvin Brown died on Monday after being moved onto end-of-life care at home on October 18.
Doctors discovered he was suffering from a rare form of cancer in his bile duct.
A fundraiser was set up to support his wife, Alexis, his childhood sweetheart, and his two daughters, aged 11 and eight.
Announcing Marvin's death, his brother and fellow former Bristol City star Aaron Brown said: "Today I said goodbye to my little brother and my best friend, Marvin.
"Your fight is finally over, and while I find some peace knowing you're no longer in pain, my heart is shattered without you here. Life will never be the same.
"You were everything a brother could ever hope for - kind, calm, ambitious, thoughtful, and always putting others before yourself.
