FORMER Premier League stars will line up against a team packed full of Bristol City legends for a charity match in memory of Marvin Brown.
-
Brown, City’s youngest-ever player, died from a rare and aggressive form of cancer on October 27 aged just 42.
Tomorrow, Bath City’s Twerton Park will host a match dedicated to celebrating Brown’s memory, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to his family.
“This event brings the community together to celebrate Marvin’s life, his love for football and his incredible spirit - and to raise funds to support his family with funeral costs, household bills and memory keepsakes for his girls,” organisers said.

You schmooze, you lose - what a waste
IN some, lose some. I was mulling over this overly obvious, but pithy, saying this week as I sat - dressed up like a penguin in a heatwave - at a posh awards dinner in London, feeling just a little disappointed, but more cross about the fact that I'd wasted my time.
