Lahiff pens his latest one-year contract

BRISTOL Bears prop Max Lahiff, who famously only signs one-year deals, has penned another contract extension to take him into his eighth season, writes John Evely.

The 35-year-old prop, who can operate on both sides of the scrum, has made 122 appearances for the club since arriving in 2019 from Bath and was recently called into Steve Borthwick’s England training squad ahead of the Six Nations clash with Wales at Twickenham.

Director of rugby Pat Lam said: “Max has delivered outstanding rugby for us over the past eight years and fully deserves his status as a Bears centurion.
