Yeovil Town celebrate Luke McCormick's opener in their 1-1 draw with Eastleigh on Tuesday night

Luke McCormick fired the Glovers into a 28th-minute lead after Josh Sims had capitalised on an error and squared for him to slot in the bottom corner.

Eastleigh were level in first-half stoppage time, Blair converting from the spot after Morgan Williams had brought down Harvey Saunders.

McCormick passed up a series of opportunities to add to his tally before Eastleigh goalkeeper Nick Townsend produced a fine save to deny James Daly, however neither side could find a winner as time ran down.

Speaking afterwards, Glovers boss Billy Rowley admitted the equaliser for Eastleigh was due to a lack of discipline.

“We just decided to go against the game plan, he said. “Positionally it wasn't amazing in that spell leading up to halftime. We turned the ball over too cheaply, we took our foot off the gas, and they got a goal.”

The Glovers will hope they will be able to find the winner in games like this going into the new year.
