Western Daily Press
|April 30, 2025
BATH Rugby attack and backs coach Lee Blackett will add to his already impressive CV with a summer on international duty with England on the team's two-Test tour of Argentina and single game against the United States.
Blackett will fill a vacancy created by Richard Wigglesworth's secondment with the British & Irish Lions, while Sale's Byron McGuigan will help out with the defence as an assistant to Joe El-Abd.
With Blackett honing the attack, top of the table Bath have already booked their place in the semi-finals of the Gallagher Premiership with three rounds to spare having scored a league-high 568 points this season, scoring 83 tries to secure 13 bonus points from 15 rounds, averaging an impressive 38 points a game.
England's summer tour kicks off with a two-Test series against Argentina, with matches taking place in La Plata on Saturday, July 5 and San Juan on Saturday, July 12.
