Travellers will see short-term parking costs rise by 21% from Monday at Bristol Airport

RISTOL Airport has blamed Rachel Reeves’ Budget for a 21 per cent hike in short-term car parking prices that will come into force on Monday.
It is the second consecutive price rise that the airport has blamed on the Chancellor - with an increase which came into force last March attributed to increased employers’ National Insurance costs.
‘The airport yesterday announced the cost of using the “drop-off and pickup” car park - the quickest option for terminal access - would rise from £7 to £8.50 for a 10-minute stay.
Meanwhile, the short-stay car park, located within a short walking distance of the terminal, will increase from £7 to £8.50 for 15 minutes and £9 to £10.50 for 15 to 30 mins.
