Spring Masked Ball is cancelled at 11th hour

A ONCE-POPULAR springtime event which was due to make a comeback last Saturday after a six-year hiatus was cancelled with only to go.
The Spring Masked Ball has not taken place since 2019, after years of difficulties in trying to find a new location for the dance festival to take place. It was previously held on the cliffs at Porthleven.
Back in November it was announced that the ball would be returning in 2025, at the former Flambards theme park in Helston.
However, organisers announced on April 14 that it would no longer be going ahead.
Posting on the event's Facebook page, Masked Ball organisers wrote: "Ballers, we're really sorry to tell you that the Spring Ball 2025 is cancelled and will not be going ahead. Everybody will receive a full refund for all tickets purchased.
