MAKE the Sunshine CIC, working on behalf of Shepton Mallet Town Council and the Shepton Mallet Local Community Network (LCN), is calling on local people, parents and organisations to share their views on what is needed in our local community for young people.

The research project aims to understand the needs, aspirations, and experiences of young people aged 10-19 (and up to 25 for those with additional needs) across the Shepton LCN area - including parishes such as Evercreech, Pilton, Croscombe, Holcombe, Coleford, and others.

The goal is to identify gaps in local youth provision and develop practical recommendations to strengthen opportunities for children and young people across the region.

Organisers said that so far, the response has been fantastic
