'IT'S AN ALBUM THAT TICKS A LOT OF BOXES'

TEREOPHONICS have released their new album and singer Kelly Jones thinks it “ticks a lot of boxes” for longtime and newer fans of the Cynon Valley-founded band.

Speaking to Wales on Sunday, the 50-year-old singer also opened up about his friendship with bandmate and fellow Cwmaman native Richard Jones, who joined him and other founder member Stuart Cable back in the mid-1990s.

“I just wanted to make a record that was like a classic Stereophonics album, but in an album of us in 2025,” he said of Make ‘em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait, the new album whose name was inspired by Kelly's former art school teacher in Pontypridd.

“There are elements of all of our styles within it, but I’m talking about where I’m at in my life right now,” he continued.
