Your editorial "A Progressive 'News Distortion' Epiphany" (Nov. 19) notes that a collection of left-wingers has asked FCC Chairman Brendan Carr to repeal the commission's news-distortion policy for broadcasters. That rescission is overdue, but it's worth adding that the liberals aren't alone in their plea.

Two-thirds of the signatories are red-blooded Republicans who have always believed the government has no business policing the media for bias or balance.
