CHILDREN at a Mid Devon primary school have baked their way into the hearts of local care home residents with a touching Remembrance Day gesture.

Youngsters in the Foundation Stage Unit at Witheridge Church of England Academy prepared a batch of poppy-themed biscuits and delivered them to residents at The Firs care home as part of their learning about remembrance and community.
