TIVERTON’S MP has launched a petition calling on the Government to reevaluate its 'disastrous decision' to remove business rate relief for hospitality businesses.

In last year’s Budget, the Chancellor announced that business rate relief would be removed from April this year, having previously been reduced from 75% to 40%. The 75% business rates relief discount had been in place since the pandemic.
