Travel chaos forecast as thousands make the most of Easter sunshine
THE nation is braced for more travel chaos this weekend as the great Easter getaway continues.
After schools finished for the holidays on Friday, the RAC said it expected a mass rush to get away, with 3.4 million drivers expected to hit the road.
Long tailbacks on the M25 are expected to continue into Monday, while Gatwick Airport is preparing for its busiest period so far this year.
It comes as easyJet cabin crew get ready to strike on Wednesday.
Passengers flying to Italy from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are being warned to expect significant delays.
The strike could also have a knock-on effect across the UK and Europe.
