Awhile back, a guy called Jason heard me on Talk Sport radio sharing my journey with prostate cancer and how I'd been using it as a force for good, much like Sir Chris Hoy was.

Inspired, he told his colleague, lan, who invited me to talk about positivity and my “can do” attitude at their annual staff conference.

Their construction business, Rhodar, likes to take on a staff challenge for charity and I was asked to join them doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks - a 24-mile hike up three of the tallest peaks in the county - to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
