'I sat and I scored'

CARLISLE United fan Colin Gallacher caught the bus to a match against Fleetwood and ended up scoring a wife.

Colin found his love match in new wife Kelly

Colin, 58, who had three hours to spare before the game, decided to walk into town.

But a Stagecoach bus drew up beside him, so he hopped on. He says: “Boy, am I glad I did. Lady Luck was clearly shining down, because Kelly took the seat beside me. She was going shopping.

“I thought she was beautiful. We struck up a conversation and she was warm, funny. I plucked up the courage to ask if she fancied a drink, and to my delight she said yes.”
