Bees boss Andrews tells Damsgaard to get busy
The Sunday Mirror
|January 04, 2026
KEITH ANDREWS insisted Mikkel Damsgaard still has a big role to play at Brentford - but the Dane will need to fight for his place.
The midfielder, 25 (right) is a popular figure in west London but has started the Bees' last four Premier League fixtures on the bench and did not get on the pitch in the goalless draw with Tottenham on New Year's Day.
There is wider scepticism that he does not fit into Andrews' system, with Damsgaard expected to be a substitute again for today's trip to Everton.
