SingPost sells 14 HDB units to Trans-Cab subsidiary for $55.5m

Singapore Post (SingPost) on Nov iLannounced that it will divest 14 HDB shophouse units across the island for a cash consideration of $55.5 million.

The sale-and-purchase agreement also has a leaseback option, each lasting about three years.
The purchaser is Trans Realty, a subsidiary of taxi operator Trans-Cab Holdings.
The batch of shophouses is the same as that reportedly sold to Mr Teo Kiang Ang, who is Trans-Cab’s chairman and founder, in earlier media reports.
