SCDF officer, wife accused of cheating MHA and SCDF of over $130,000

A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officer and his wife were charged on Oct 16 with cheating the SCDF and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of more than $130,000.
Muhammad Zahid Rosili, 41, who was posted to the Civil Defence Academy at the time of the offences, faces 28 charges.
His wife, Nuraifa Ahmad, 38, the sole proprietor of Grundy Wellness Network and the director of Clutch Esports, was handed 19 charges.
Between 2017 and 2023, Zahid allegedly cheated the SCDF of about $52,000 by concealing his personal interests in both companies when he submitted quotations from the two organisations to the SCDF on separate occasions for paintball and e-sports events.
