PM Wong pens congratulatory letter to Canadian PM Mark Carney

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has congratulated his Canadian counterpart Mark Carney on winning the country's 2025 election.
"The Canadian people have placed their trust in you and the Liberal Party to lead them during this period of change. Your deep experience and steady leadership will serve you well as you guide Canada through the challenges ahead," PM Wong said in a letter dated May 6.
Mr Carney was sworn in as Prime Minister on March 14 after the departure of his predecessor Justin Trudeau.
