Major Winner Walker to Make Porsche Singapore Classic Debut

Golf Major winner Jimmy Walker is excited to be making his maiden appearance in the upcoming Porsche Singapore Classic at Laguna National Golf Resort Club.
Joining the 2016 PGA Championship winner at the US$2.5 million (S$3.34 million) March 20-23 Singapore event will be LIV Golf star Paul Casey, the organisers announced on Feb 24.
After spending most of his career on the PGA Tour in the United States, Walker now plays on the DP World Tour as he seeks to resurrect his game after a debilitating illness.
The American, 46, said: "It's always exciting to play in new events, and the Porsche Singapore Classic is no exception...
"I've really enjoyed playing on the DP World Tour this season, and I'm looking forward to another great week in Singapore."
The six-time PGA Tour winner has played three events on the DP World Tour this season, missing the cut in all three, with his best performance coming in the Bahrain Championship where he finished tied-74th.
